Practitioner FAQ

ProCell's unique stamping design ensures consistent channel depth with each tap.  This provides your patients with reproducible treatments and predictable recovery periods.  You can adjust your needle depth by simply selecting a more aggressive needle attachment.

Most subjects will not require and numbing cream, however, it is good to have a pre-treatment numbing cream on hand for more sensitive patients.

Treatment interval will vary based on each subject.  We recommend waiting for a minimum of 2 weeks between treatments to allow for the healing response.

You should deliver at least one pass with a single tap/80% overlap, or One Pass Triple Tap/50% overlap.

More passes may be delivered to problem areas.

Redness typically lasts 20 to 30 minutes but is variable based on the patient. More aggressive needles or longer, more comprehensive treatments will typically extend recovery periods.

Makeup can be applied one hour after treatment.

Most patients experience mild redness and swelling. However, there are wide ranges of skin reactions.  Anything from no reaction, to a deep red flush, to pinpoint bleeding is normal.  As this is a non-ablative procedure, more extreme reactions do not necessarily mean better results.

Contraindications would include any subject that may have a compromised immune system.  Anyone who is undergoing chemotherapy, has open lesions or pustules or is pregnant or nursing.

ProCell is an incredible money maker for any size practice.
